Music’s biggest night started with show-stopping
performances by megastars, tributes to music legends, political statements,
solidarity for the time’s up movement and so many more moments that made the 60th
annual Grammy Awards truly a night to remember.
Our favorite artists gathered at the Madison Square Garden on
Sunday night, the first time in 15 years the awards show was taking place in
New York to celebrate the best in music.
Bruno Mars was the big winner |
The big winner of the evening was Bruno Mars, and 3 of his
awards came in major Grammy categories – The coveted Album of the Year, Song
of the Year and Rapper of the Year.
The show kicked off with a politically charged opening
performance by Kendrick Lamar, who was joined on-stage by U2’s Bono and the
Edge as well as comedian Dave Chappelle.
James Corden returned as a host for the second year running.
